Wz'up Chandra, av been going thru ur blogs and think ur up there. ur informed. My name is Koch Danika, i live in Kenya and am on the third day of my action script course. am determined to make it in the interactive world and going by the stuff you post, i think u are a guru. I just want some advise since am just starting out.
Hi Koch, Thanks for your compliment…. though I am not a guru and learning new things every day.
My suggestion for anyone who is new to actionscript is to look at it as any other OOP lang and try to understand the pattern behind it and not get stuck in the syntax only…. Think of the bigger picture everytime to write a line of code…. Study the code of "ace" actionscriptors… and practice as much as possible.
Hey whats happening chandra? I just stumbled onto your blog and started reading through it. Its really cool that people like you are here sharing. I'm Rick and I've been playing around with Flex and Flash and I have a pretty good understanding of AS3 I can read codes and modify them. My problem is when I come across errors for the first time I scratch my head and think "what in The world"?? Man how do you figure out the errors and what do they mean? Its not talking to you in regular every day english. This is my one of my biggest problems and I have no one to turn to because I am self taught and none of my friends are involved with this. Can you give me some insight? Thanks in advance
Thanks Rick for your appreciation. I will try to put down my experience in form of an article regarding debugging that might help you very soon.
